Editorial standards

Content should be traceable, useful, and reviewable.

Read the editorial and source-handling standards that guide AI4Tools public guides, source notes, and tool explanations.

Source and review expectations

For sensitive topics such as immigration, tax, admissions, or regulated decision-making, content should point users to the relevant official source and say what the tool does not determine. Product claims should be reviewed for factual accuracy before publication and updated when the underlying rule or workflow changes.

  • Prefer primary or official sources for high-impact topics.
  • Separate a tool's calculation from the decision a third party makes.
  • State the jurisdiction, period, or data scope when it affects the result.

Authorship and updates

The current public site does not display a named editorial team or a formal update log for every page. Those details should be added only when the operator can maintain them. Until then, AI4Tools should avoid implying an unverified author credential, review board, or ongoing monitoring process.

  • Do not publish anonymous authority claims.
  • Record meaningful source or methodology changes before release.
  • Correct material errors promptly once identified.
